  • We’re seriously excited about the Youth October Sculpture Build!September 22, 2023 - 2:15 pm

    Sculpture build dates: October 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, 22, 28, 29.
    Expert artists/builders and an architect will guide students. Participants can be involved for as many days as they wish. The final sculpture will be on display in Telluride, Norwood, Nucla, and Naturita for part of the year. Participants will be named on signage with sculpture. Transportation, food, materials, and all safety gear provided.
    Advance sign up is required for students coming from Nucla, Naturita, and Norwood to confirm transportation.

    We’re exciting about helping Camp Porta Party and their amazing Art Car, Hel’s Diner. This is a nonprofit organization just like us. We can totally relate to the struggles of maintaining an Art Car (AKA Mutant Vehicle) for public use at Burning Man’s annual event.

Getting Around

Free gondola: Travel from Town to Mountain Village Center Plaza and back. Location: On Gus’s Way, between Aspen and Oak Streets.
 
Free Town Shuttle Bus: Galloping Goose stops at every bus stop (if people are present) and runs a loop around town— east on Pacific St. and West on Main Street, every 15 min. The Goose also stops at the gondola station.
