Rocky Mountain Arts collaborated with True North Youth Program to offer teens a wood sculpture building workshop this past November 6 & 7.
Saturday and Sunday during the 2021 Festival, the public was able to partake in a variety of free Flow Arts workshops at the Wilkinson Public Library. This year, we are planning another welding workshop. Stay tuned for details. Sponsorships, grants and donations help the Festival obtain expert instructors for these workshops. Past workshops have included welding, stained glass, glass blowing, create your own flow art prop, and the ancient healing method called Fire Burning Rituals. Many other sponsorship opportunities exist. Email erin@rockymountainarts.org for more info.
All events are subject to change due to the status of the pandemic in Telluride.
The 2020 Festival culminated with Fire On The Mountain:
Guests viewed the wildly entrancing Fire On The Mountain atop Chair 7…safely. The free Gondola transported all who wished to attend to Station St Sophia for a short walk out onto the mountain to see two large (clean) wood sculptures burn to the ground.
This past December 4, the Festival finale culminated in a wildly exciting event literally on the road at the end of the box canyon with wood burning sculptures, interactive propane sculptures, fire dancing, lighting effects, a flaming art car, music, snacks, pizza, and a cash bar.
We invite you to consider being a sponsor for 2023.
