Naturita, CO Youth Mural

September 2025, Youth from Naturita and Nucla participated in mural project for at the Paradox Cycle Shop in Naturita. The visual masterpiece can be be seen by all who drive by and come to the bike shop.

We have Owner, Brock Benson to thank for embracing our idea to have the youth paint a mural on his building. He chose the theme, which we love.

Huge thanks to the amazing youth and adults who rolled up their sleeves and brought this vision to life. The prominent wall has come alive with color, creativity, and community spirit. 💛

We’re so grateful to The Flying Bear for keeping everyone fueled, and to The Vestal House in Nucla for welcoming me with cozy lodging.

And, a very special thank you to our sponsors and collaborators who made this project possible:
🌟 Alpine Bank
🌟 Sessions Family Foundation
🌟 Colorado Creative Industries
🌟 Timberline Ace Hardware
🌟 James Thorneycroft (for scaffolding!)

This mural is more than paint on a wall—it’s a reflection of what happens when a community comes together.
